After a long time, we are back at Eastern University, Dhaka, thanks to the help and support from Md. Saddam Hossain vai. This was a very important event for the community for various reason. Let’s talk about it and know why.
First of all, as I have already said, after a long time, we were back at Eastern University. We were joined with a few old contributors and mostly new ones. We introduced testing and also talked about bug verification and bug life cycle.
The event started with Ikram vai talking about brief history of Mozilla and Firefox. Then I talked about what can a we do for Mozilla. I talked about different pathways like QA, Sumo, MDN etc. I prepared a slideshow to make it interesting.
You can also download this from here.
Later I also talked about bug life cycle.
After the initial part of the event and jummah prayer, we were introduced to bug triaging by Hossain Al Ikram vai. He demonstrated triaging a few bugs to us. This is the second reason this event was very important for the community. From this event, we have started triaging bugs regularly.
At the end like always we took a group photo. Smiles everyone! 😀
Hopefully we will be back sooner at Eastern University again.
